Pamela Lawrence practices in the area of Family Law with emphasis on the area of Children Law both Private and Public. She also has a flourishing practice in Housing and Employment Law.
Pamela Lawrence has lectured and served as examiner at the Department of Environmental Studies of the Southbank Polytechnic (now Southbank University). She has been a part time lecturer and an examiner at the Inns of Court School of Law (City University – School of Law), mainly in Advocacy, Conference Skills and Drafting. In 1991, before the Children Act 1989 came into force, she delivered training to Social Workers of the City of Leicester Social Workers in the implementation of the said Act . For the past 13 years Pamela Lawrence has been a Trustee of the Post Adoption Centre, an internationally renowned Charity which provides support and assistance to adopted children, birth parents and adoptive parents. From 1990 to 1994 she was on the management committee of the Pitt Street Settlement, a charity providing support to young persons in the Peckham community.
Pamela Lawrence has travelled widely and lived in several countries and, while resident in The United Arab Emirates, she studied for two years Classical Arabic at the Abu Dhabi Educational Institute. She also took advantage of her presence in the Gulf to read widely on Comparative Religion.

Pamela is a great advocate of extra mural education and has benefitted from a History of Art Diploma Course. She is a supporter of the Arts and has written for Tuareg Productions Limited. She plays the piano rather badly, but this does not prevent her from attempting her beloved Mozart.
