Having practiced in both the civil and criminal courts Andrew has an extensive and wide ranging experience as a specialized trial advocate.
A background of criminal advocacy in serious cases such as rape, armed robbery and the importation and supply of Class A drugs has developed the requisite skills for the handling of witnesses in the most difficult of situations.
This has strengthened his civil practice which deals principally with cases of personal injury and employment law. Of particular interest are matters relating to road traffic, having had overlapping experience of their consequences in the County, Coroner’s and Crown Courts.
Andrew also practices in prison law with experience both of parole board hearings and adjudications.

Andrew completed his undergraduate degree at Oxford where he was made a scholar of Worcester College. He subsequently completed the GDL and BVC at the College of Law, receiving a distinction and an “outstanding” respectively. He was awarded an exhibition from the Inner Temple and, having completed pupillage elsewhere, joined Nexus Chambers in May 2010.
Having lived and worked in France, Andrew is fluent in French. He is proficient in German and has a basic knowledge of Spanish and Romanian.
Away from work Andrew pursues a longstanding interest in long distance triathlon.
